These poll results are Part 1 of a two-part survey commissioned by the Pembina Institute to gauge Albertans' perceptions of oil sands development.
On May 8, the Pembina Institute released the results of Part 1 of the survey, which focuses on Albertans' opinions on the pace and scale of oil sands development. On May 15, Part 2 which focuses on Albertans' opinions on the economic issues related to oil sands development, particularly the royalty regime was released.
